Instructor & Personal Wellness Advisor, Seaport

Sarah was born and raised in Shrewsbury, MA. She has always been an
avid exercise enthusiast and enjoyed being a part of various sports
teams. She was captain of soccer, basketball and track in high school
and went on to play on a nationally ranked rugby team at Providence
College. Fitness was and has continued to be a huge part of her life
as it helped her stay positive throughout life’s challenges.

Sarah graduated from Providence College with a bachelor’s of science
in marketing and began working as a customer service/sales rep at New
Balance Headquarters. While she enjoyed being a part of an athletic
brand, she felt as if she was missing something in her life. She
decided to follow in her parents’ footsteps and go back to nursing
school. She graduated with a bachelor’s in nursing and now works full
time on a surgical/trauma floor at Massachusetts General Hospital.
While nursing fulfilled her passion for helping others she still
wanted to be involved in the fitness community. Her off days were
spent attending different fitness classes in Boston, training for 1/2
marathons and weightlifting. She decided to become certified to teach
group fitness and ultimately found Burnin for Ray. She was immediately
impressed with their classes, passion for helping others and overall
approach to group fitness. She is looking forward to inspiring others
to stay fit and healthy in the same way so many instructors have done
for her
