Growing up, Erin was always involved in competitive cheerleading from All-Star teams to cheering on a Co-Ed competition team at Westfield State University. Being fascinated by how the human body works, Erin completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Movement Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine. Upon graduating, career opportunities arose utilizing her science background that allowed her to pursue a career in pharmacy. After being in the pharmacy world for about 5 years she realized she wasn’t excited or motivated to go to work every day. It felt as if she hit a dead-end road that left her pondering “What do I want to be when I grow up?” Pharmacy made her appreciate the importance of keeping your body healthy. She realized so many people rely on medicine to essentially keep them alive on a daily basis when exercise and eating to fuel your body can do the same with many more benefits. She decided to follow her heart and true passions in life; a healthy body and a healthy mind. Becoming a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) was step one to her new career path. A few puzzle pieces later, she couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the BBR team and share her passion for fitness with the BBR community!
