BURNIN' By Ray is an innovative fitness company that is on the rise in the Boston area and will be opening a second location in the spring of 2018 in the Seaport District.  In preparation for our launch, we are seeking people passionate about health, wellness, and nutrition. Front Desk Staff

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Greet all members and guests upon entering and leaving the studio
  • Answer phones in a friendly, professional manner
  • Possess knowledge of club facility, services, and schedules in order to answer questions
  • Communicate special events to members and guests
  • Maintain a professional disposition at all times
  • Sell retail products
  • Facilitate payment of member services in accordance with company procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
  • Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook
  • Opening and closing duties
  • Proficient in Social Media
  • Flexible schedule to work day/evening/weekends as needed

Juice Bar Manager

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage staff - training, scheduling, evaluating
  • Report to executive team on sales and trends
  • Blend Smoothies
  • Make fresh juices
  • Operate cash register/credit card transactions etc
  • Interface with customers
  • Preparation of fruits and vegetables
  • Exceptional customer service and sales skills

Qualifications and Skills

  • Retail and/or food service experience
  • Wellness knowledge of plant based raw food
  • Managerial experience
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Dedicated, reliable and trustworthy
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Flexible schedule to work day/evening/weekends as needed

Nutritionist

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assessing clients' diet and nutrition needs in light of their lifestyle and workout plan
  • Counseling clients on how to eat for adequate nutrition
  • Designing eating plans according to patient goals, tastes, and health needs
  • Analyzing the results of eating plans and adjusting them as needed
  • Addressing groups about healthy eating
  • Documenting eating plans and patient progress
  • Present lectures, seminars, and workshops on sports nutrition to BBR community
  • Contribute to BBR’s blog by writing relevant and useful nutrition posts
  • Contribute to our social media nutrition posts by providing current and relevant topics to discuss on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
  • Develop nutrition education/intervention and sports nutrition programs
  • Establish nutritional assessment and treatment policies and procedures to be used during the diagnostics assessment
  • Establish nutritional supplement use policies and procedures, including investigation of potential supplements.Develop materials on nutrition and weight control.
  • Spearhead/oversee any food challenges/clean eating food groups run by BBR

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition, clinical nutrition, food service systems management, dietetics, or a related field.
  • Licensed.
  • Prefer nutrition professionals who are credentialed with an RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist).
